The Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy (SEP) is one of the biggest and the most authoritative encyclopedia of philosophy. Each of its entry is a full-scale introduction dedicated to a problem, a notion or a philosopher written by an expert or group of experts in the field in an accessible way maintaining the highest academic standards. The entries available online and are kept up-to-date reflecting actual progress in philosophical thought. The Moscow Center for Consciousness Studies inviting specialists from Lomonosov Moscow State University, Saint Petersburg State University, and National Research University Higher School of Economics is working on the translation of the SEP entries on the most fundamental and exciting questions in the contemporary philosophy. The translations are published with a permission of the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy.
